Two days family NEWS service training for JRC councellors at Erode .

A State Level JRC camp was conducted by the State Branch by Tenkasi Educational District at Courtallam from 30th September to 3rd October 2009 at Syed Residential Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Courtallam. 220 Juniors and Counsellors from 38 Education Districts participated in this camp. The camp was inaugurated by Thiru S.F. Syed Rabbani, Thiru R.Gladwin Gabriel, State Co-ordinator, JRC briefed about the camp. Thiru Charles Neel, Principal of Syed Residential Matriculation Hr. Sec. School, gave felicitation.

Four days camp included Red Cross and JRC topics like History, Health, Service, Friendship, First Aid, Fire Fighting and Child Rights. In the afternoon, crafts and songs were taught to the Juniors.

On the third day, the campers were taken to the water falls and then a rally was organized on the awareness of Blood Donation. The Valedictory function was held on 3rd October 2009 at 3.00 p.m. Thiru L. Murthy, R.D.O delivered the Valedictory address and Thiru M.Balaraman, C.A.O and Thiru D.A. Prabhakar, Honorary Secretary, Tirunelveli District gave felicitations. Prizes were distributed to the individual winner and teams. Certificates were given to all the participants.
