During the month of February 2011, 15 Blood Donation camps were conducted and collected 1542 units of blood as follows:-

BLOOD GROUPING CAMP:-

ISSUE OF WHOLE HUMAN BLOOD:-

934 units were issued on requisition to various hospitals.  27 units issued free of cost to Government General Hospital on requisition from Resident Medical Officer.

COMPONENT SEPARATION UNIT:-

       In our Blood bank, Blood components like Packed Red Cell, Fresh Frozen Plasma and Platelet Concentrate are separated and blood supplied to hospitals and Nursing Homes on requisition.
