Orthopeadic Surgeons’ and Physiotherapists’ Meet .

Red Cross Prosthetic & Orthotic Centre with Physiotherapy unit has been modernized and refurbished with the support of Italian Red Cross. The Physically handicapped children and adults are getting treatment in the Red Cross Modernized Prosthetic & Orthotic Centre. The Physiotherapy unit has been provided with modern equipments and other facilities. Apart from the patients referred to by our Day Care Hospital, patients from outside also are treated in the physiotherapy unit with qualified physiotherapists.

In order to popularize Red Cross services to the physically challenged persons and also the therapy facilities offered, a meeting with orthopeadic surgeons and physiotherapists in and around Chennai was organized at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, the 8th December 2009 in Red Cross buildings. On this occasion, Dr. Mayilvahanan Natarajan was felicitated for the commendable services rendered by him to Red Cross and on becoming the Vice Chancellor of The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University.
