Camp Report .

Interstate JRC Training-cum-Study Camp held at Blessings Matriculation School, Keerappakkam, Chengalpattu from 27.12.2009 to 31.12.2009. 215 participants (Juniors & Counsellors) and thirty five Volunteers, total 250 participated in the Camp. Six states namely, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Pondicherry and 24 educational districts from Tamil Nadu participated in the Camp. Daily Programme included Flag Hosting, lectures like History of Red Cross, First-Aid. Fire Safety, Health, Service, Friendship, child protection and crafts. The Juniors were taken to Vedanthangal, Thirukkazhukkundram and Mamallapuram on 30.12.2009. Validictory function was attended by Thiru M.Balaraman, Chief Administrative Officer, Indian Red Cross Society, Tamil Nadu Branch, Thiru R.Gladwin Gabriel, State JRC Co-ordinator and Thiru Thomas Jayapal, Principal of Blessings Matriculation School were the guests. Prizes were given to the winners of competitions and certificates were given to all the participants.
