Sensitization Programme.

Sensitization programme for the school Head Masters and College Principals under Youth Peer Education Programme in Perambalur District was conducted on 27th May 09. 40 Head Masters and Principals participated. The objective of the programme was to sensitize them about the importance of HIV/AIDS awareness among school and college students.

After the completion of the first year of the programme implementation, the institutional heads informed that the programme had a good effect among the students and the response was also good. The Principals and Headmasters were also sensitized about importance of Child Protection Programme in schools and colleges. 

The state coordinator - YPEP participated in community out reach programme in Perambalur district as a part of community mobilization. Community awareness programmes were conducted for village people, women self help group; youth etc. around 200 people were benefited. YPEP staff gave awareness about HIV/AIDS and importance of Blood Donation.
