Disaster management training programs for YRC students

Disaster Management for training program was organized in Hindu College, Avadi, Chennai. About 90 YRC students participated in the training. The subjects on Red Cross Movement fundamental Principles, Disaster Management, Code of conduct, relief management, Roles and Responsibilities of Volunteers were disseminated.

Disaster Management training programme at Tirupur

IRCS Tiruppur sub branch has conducted a one day Disaster management volunteers training programme on 20th October 2011 for volunteers. About 55 volunteers attended the pogramme. The sessions were on RC movement, DM concepts, types, Impacts, DM cycle, role of Red Cross in DM, Emergency Assessment, role of volunteers in DM and preparedness.
