Blood Bank

During the month of October 2011, 3 Blood Donation camps were conducted and collected 180 units of blood as follows

ISSUE OF WHOLE HUMAN BLOOD:-

        510 units were issued on requisition to various hospitals.24 units issued free of cost to Government General Hospital on requisition from Resident Medical Officer.

COMPONENT SEPARATION UNIT:-

        In our Blood Bank, blood components like Packed Red Cell, Fresh Frozen Plasma and Platelet Concentrate are separated and blood supplied to hospitals and Nursing Homes on requisition.
