JUNIOR RED CROSS

A team of JRC 16 Juniors including 7 junior girls, accompanied by 9 JRC selected counsellors, (6 male + 3 female) from 16 various school of Ramanathapuram District, attended the National Youth Red Cross Exchange programme for JRC Juniors held at Amritsar in Punjab from 24/12/2011 to 31/12/2011.

They were adjudged as the best team for Exhibition Award and they were also presented with individual certificate for participation.

Ariyalur Educational District

JRC Ariyalur Educational District, in co-ordination with the IRCS, Ariyalur District Branch, conducted Aids Awareness programme on 1/12/2011. The District Collector. Tmt.Anugeorge IAS inaugurated the Rally, Presided over by N.Nallaiappan, President, Ariyalur District Branch in which Tmt N.Jayalakshmi, DEO & President, JRC sub Committee and R.Mahalingam, DEO also participated. Felicitation was offered by various office bears of JRC and District Branch of Ariyalur District.

Perambalur Educational District

Similarly JRC Perambalur Educational District conducted "AIDS AWARENESS" Campaign. Dr. Thares Ahamed IAS, District Collector Perambalur inaugurated the Rally in the presence of G.Seetharaman District Educational Officer in which 514 JRC juniors drawn from 13 Govt & Aided schools of Perambalur participated. Handbills containing information on "AIDS AWARENESS" was distributed to public . JRC counsellors under the Leadership of D.Radhakrishan, Educational District Convener, participated in this Rally.
